Freedom Athletic Opportunities

Freedom youth have the opportunity to participate in both Farm Team and Little League baseball. They use the baseball field at Freedom Field. Seasons begin in late April and go through June. Contact Harry Buttery at 568-3110 or Kevin Johndro at 722-3367.

Freedom youth can also participate in Mt. View BUM League Basketball. BUM League is a basketball program for grades 3-6 in S.A.D. #3. The season begins in late October and runs through early February. Contact Read Brugger at 382-6477.

Adult men can participate in weekly pickup basketball games at Unity College from 6:30 - 8:30 PM on Thursdays. No sign up or weekly commitment needed.

Freedom also has tremendous roads and trails for recreational running. Unity College has an annual 5K road race on the third Saturday in April.
